James "Jim" Sanfred Clauson, Jr.

James “Jim” Sanfred Clauson, Jr., 74, of Biloxi, MS passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023. Jim was born March 27, 1948 in Pennsylvania to James S. Clauson and Katherine McGrath.

Jim graduated from San Diego State before going on to military school. During his time in the service, Jim received many awards and recognitions, such as, The Bronze Star, The Purple Heart, and Drill Sergeant of the Year. By the time he retired, Jim was ranked Sergeant Major. After 20 years in the military, he retired and began working at the Real Estate Training Institute, where he worked with his wife as partners. Later, he worked at Coastal Income Properties Inc. in Long Beach. Jim had a love for everything military or Harley Davidson as well as for his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James S. Clauson and Katherine McGrath; and siblings, Andrew Clauson, Christopher Clauson, and Mary Clauson.

Survivors include his spouse, Leslie Clauson; children, Carol V. Clauson and Michelle Clauson; siblings, Cindy Clauson, June Clauson, Nancy Clauson, and Eric Clauson; and his loveable dog, Mike.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Biloxi National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
