James Crofford

James Hale Crofford, age 72, of Vancleave, MS., died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Crofford was a native of Banner, MS., a former resident of Russellville, AL., and a former resident of Columbus, GA. He lived on the coast for the past 7 years. Mr. Crofford was US Army Retired, a Vietnam Veteran and a Drafting Instructor. He was preceded in death by his son, James M. Crofford. Survivors include his daughter, Penny (Fred) Cole; son, Ricky Crofford; ten grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, Jacob, Niko, Summer, Brittany, Ashley, Brandon, Caleb and Carema; one great- grandchild, and his former spouse, Mylien Crofford. Visitation will be on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with military honors.
