Mr. James Denny Wescovich, 84, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008, in Biloxi.
Mr. Wescovich was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II and a retired fire fighter with civil service at Keesler Air Force Base. He was a lifetime member of the V F W and DAV.
Mr. Wescovich was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae McQueen Wescovich; parents, Peter and Mary Ellen Wescovich; brothers and sisters, Cecelia Walker, Mable Lipscomb, Norita Wescovich, Alverta Wescovich, Francis Brannon, Lillian Dubaz, Peter Wescovich, Grace Broussard, Eugene Wescovich, Henry Wescovich and George Wescovich. Survivors include his Daughter, Julie Grandy (David Smith) of Biloxi; son, Wayne D. Wescovich (Sibyl) of Biloxi; granddaughters, Tina Marie Poulos and Tonya Grandy; grandson, Mitchell Bean; and great grandchildren, Carrie Barfield, Mallory Bean, Madalynn Bean and Marshall Bean.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
