James E. Duncan, Sr.

Mr. James E. Duncan, 76, of Biloxi, MS, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Duncan had been a resident of Biloxi since 1963. He retired fron the United States Air Force in 1971 and from Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his wife, Sara E. “Beth” Duncan; a son, Johnny F. Duncan; his parents, Frank and Rosa Duncan; and two brothers, John P. Duncan and Cecil B. Duncan. Mr. Duncan is survived by two daughters, Barbara Hutcherson of Columbus, GA, and Wanda Duncan of Biloxi; two sons, James E. Duncan, Jr. and Jeffery W. Duncan and his wife, Toby, all of Biloxi; a sister, Gwen Ward of Virginia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 30 at 1:30 p.m. in the Biloxi National Cemetery.
