James Edwin "Ed" Williams

James Edwin “Ed” Williams, 62 of Ocean Springs, MS went to be with his heavenly father and sister on December 6, 2023.

He was born on February 20, 1961 to Jimmy and Frances Williams in Biloxi, MS. Ed graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1979. He served in the Army from 1980 to 1986. In 1986, he returned to Ocean Springs where he was the owner of K-Mar Industries, Inc.

Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Sue Woods; grandparents, Stanford and Jessie Williams and Edward and Mary Roach; and father-in-law, Wayne Motes.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Darlene; four sons, James Williams of Athens, GA, Nicholas (Sara) of Orlando, FL, Specialist Dylan Williams of Ft. Campbell, KY, and Cole Williams of Ocean Springs, MS; his parents, Jimmy and Frances Williams of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Gwen (Shannon) Wilkerson of Ocean Springs, MS; mother-in-law, Peggy Moore of Mobile, AL; sister-in-law Angie (Mike) Murchinson of Mobile, AL; granddaughters, Bethany and Chelsea Williams; nieces and nephews, Erin Lindsey, Kendra (Clint) Woods, and Allen (Morgan) Wilkerson; and multiple great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Ocean Springs.
