James M. Eide

Mr. James M. Eide, 88, passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 23, 2023. He was a native of Brainerd, MN, but he was a resident of the Gulf Coast for over 67 years. Mr. James was a US Air Force veteran and was employed in Civil Service for 35 years. He worked on the US Naval Oceanographic (NASA) Calibration Lab in Washington and Atsugi, Japan.

Mr. James is preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 67 years, Juanita Thompson Eide.

Survivors include his children, Teresa (Mike) Eide Kent, Karol (David) M. Melsheimer, Kathy Juanico Eide, Renee (Michael) Kennicutt, and James (Rieko) J. Eide; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Blessed Francis X Seelos Catholic Church at 9 am on Friday, April 28, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 11 am.
