James Everett Letort

Mr. James Everett Letort, 85, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, November 28, 2008, in Biloxi. Mr. Letort was born in St. Martin Community where he remained a lifelong resident.. He was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was very active in the choir. He resided at River Chase Village Nursing Home in Gautier for the last five years. Mr. Letort was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Lee Letort; his parents, Aristide and Nora Quave Letort; sisters, Hilda Gable, Verniece Bullock, Alethia Diaz and Ella Thomas; and brothers, Ira Letort and Vernon Letort. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Decem ber 2, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where friends may visit 1 hour before service time. Interment will follow in Bosarge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like for memorials to be made to the Alzheimer's Association of the South, 14175 S. Country Hills Drive, Gulfport, S 39503. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge services.
