James Franci Defreitas

James Francis DeFreitas, 80, of Biloxi died Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Mr. DeFreitas was born in Lowell, MA on January 6, 1929 and had lived on the MS Gulf Coast most of his life. He was retired Air Force and worked in Civil Service. He enjoyed golf, bowling, exercising , reading and he really loved cookouts with the family. Survivors include his step-daughter, Mariellen Ricciardo; four step-grandchildren, Virgina Miner, Dwain, Drew and Gerald Savner all of Long Beach. Also, there are 8 step-great-grandchildren and 9 step-great-great-grandchildren. Graveside Services will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10:00 am at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
