James Frank "Jimmy", Kinsey, 71, of D'Iberville, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 in Biloxi. Mr. Kinsey was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. In his younger years he worked in the family seafood business, Gollott and Kinsey Seafood. He was also a journeyman carpenter, and longtime truck driver. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a U.S. Army veteran . Mr. Kinsey was a longtime member of Cedar Lake Christian Assembly.
Mr. Kinsey was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Kinsey.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Lee Kinsey of D'Iberville, 3 daughters, Charlotte Hosli Moore and husband Don of St. Martin, Kathy Kinsey Dunkin and husband David of Woolmarket, Brenda Kinsey Halsted and husband Jaron of Greenville, NY, his father, Chester Arthur Kinsey of D'Iberville, 9 grandchildren, Aaron Moore, Ashleigh Teates, Destiny Dunkin, Brianna Dunkin, Sierra Dunkin, Dakota Dunkin, Nicholas Halsted, Chelsea Halsted, and Jaron "Ja-Mike" Halsted, 2 great grandchildren, Leis Moore and Corban Moore, one brother Daniel Kinsey of D'Iberville.
A funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly, where friends may visit one hour before service. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. in Biloxi National Cemetery.
