James N. Freeman

James N. Freeman, 79, a longtime resident of Ocean Springs, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015. James was a proud Veteran, retiring honorably, after 21 years of service with the United States Air Force, followed by his retirement from Ingalls. James loved his family more than anything, had a wonderful sense of humor, truly enjoyed living on the Gulf Coast and playing Blackjack. He is preceeded in death by his wife, Monika Freeman; and his brothers, Laverne and Gavin Freeman. James' survivors include his three daughters, Diana Gray, Mickey McGalliard and Sandra Roberts (Skye Nickens); and his brother, Glenn Freeman. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Devon, Christa, Trey and Kyndal. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 9:00 am. Friends may visit from 8:30 am until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
