James Russell Gardiner

James Russell Gardiner, 87, of Meridian, MS, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015. James "Jim" was born in Baltimore, MD on April 14, 1928. He graduated from Calvert Hall High School and Loyola College as an accountant. He was married to Ann "Peg" on April 14, 1951. They were married 63 years. Jim worked as an accountant at Barton, Duer and Koch for many years before purchasing a business in Meridian, MS which he successfully ran for many years. Jim is survived by his son, Mark Russell Gardiner; daughter, Lauren Marie Drummond; granddaughters, Belinda Gardiner Killough and Ileah Rocha; grandsons, Joshua Hill Drummond and Nathan Russell Drummond; and his in-laws, George and Dee Mickolite. Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Margaret Gardiner, and his sister, Jane Hipsley. Visitation is Saturday, January 2, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Ave., in Biloxi.
