Mr. James "Kenneth" Couch, age 51, of Vancleave, MS., died Thursday, January 21, 2010, in Pascagoula.
Mr. Couch was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He was a 1976 graduate of Ocean Springs High School where he was a three year starter in football and a member of the Football Team of the Decade. He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and a former employee of Manning Construction. He was also an Eagle Scout and attended Belle Fountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Fay Couch, parents, James L. and Wanda Couch, two sisters, Kimberly (Charles) Perry and Kandace Couch, stepdaughter, Angie (Mike) Perry, stepson, Alan Wilson, six grandchildren and three nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 24, 2010, from 6 PM - 8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, January 25, 2010, there will be an 11 AM church service at Belle Fountain Baptist Church, where Mr. Couch will lie in state from 10 AM - 11 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
