James Monroe Dubuisson, 82, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007. He was born in Pineville and was a life long resident of the Gulf Coast. He previously served in the Merchant Marines and was a retired carpenter. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Gulfport.
Mr. Dubuisson was preceded in death by his parents, Louis J. and Alphonsine Sellier Dubuisson; a daughter, Rosemary Parker; three brothers, Louis, Morris, and Leroy; and four sisters, Agnes, Viola, Anna, and Hazel.
Mr. Dubuisson is survived by his wife, Helen Freeman Dubuisson of Gulfport; a son, Floyd Thompson of Gulfport; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery, Long Beach.
