James Monroe Hickman

James Monroe Hickman, 68, of North Biloxi, MS died Sunday, May 16, 2010 in North Biloxi. James was a longtime resident of North Biloxi and known as the "Junk Man" and "Chubby". He enjoyed junking and had a heart of gold. Mr. Hickman is preceded in death by his parents, Lucy Etta and Clifton Monroe Hickman; three grandchildren, James Michael Hutcherson, Jaccob Monroe Hickman and Lucy Annie Fountain; two brothers, William Hickman and Leo Hickman; sister, Mittie Jean Wilson. He is survived by four daughters, Linda Pluff of Arizona, Tabitha (Larry) Shortz of Saucier and Angela (Charles) Fountain of Biloxi and Christine Hickman of Saucier; two sisters, Mary (Judy) Owens and Martha Ann Causey; twelve grandchildren, Samantha (Eric) Triplett, Dorthy, Christian Shortz, Brittany Warden, Lance, Kevin, Shaina, Ashley, Corey, Austin, Hannah and Kenny Fountain; one great-grandson, Elijah James Triplett. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held.
