James "Jim" P. Clay, II, 58, of Biloxi died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in Biloxi. Mr. Clay was a resident of the coast for over 30 tears. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He loved to play golf and won the Junior Golf Championship in New York at the age of 14. He was known on the coast as "Lawnmower Jim".
Mr. Clay is preceded in death by his father James Palmer Clay; grandparents Sam and Beulah Clay and O.D. Brackman all of Hattiesburg.
He is survived by his mother LaNelle Eastland and stepfather Charles Eastland of Hattiesburg; sister Jan Jordan of Panama City, FL; stepsister Lynette Windham of McHenry; stepbrothers Lamar Eastland of Picayune and Jim Eastland of Gautier; niece LeAnna Miller of Panama City, FL; and nephew Stephen Marks of Long Beach.
Memorial service will be held Monday, August 6, 2007 at 11AM at Temple East Baptist Church in Hattiesburg. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements
