James “Jim” E. Pendergrass, age 66, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Pendergrass was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He retired from the Biloxi Police Department in 1994 and worked for Harrah’s Gulf Coast Casino for over 20 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Mr. Pendergrass is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marie Pendergrass; son, Jason Pendergrass; brother, Charles Pendergrass; sisters-in-law, Jean Lightsey, Ahling Weldon, and Rose (Benard) Keller; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends may visit one-hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
