James M. "Jim" Rose

James M. "Jim" Rose, age 67, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017. Formerly of St. Augustine, Florida, Jim has been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past twenty-five years. He owned and operated Color World Painting with his son, Tim Rose. Jim enjoyed all aspects of Coast living. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two children, Jimbo and Cheryl. Jim's survivors include his wife, Lynn Rose; his daughter, Tonya (John) Layne; his son, Tim (Lindsey) Rose; his grandchildren, Ashley, Devin, Cory, Nikki, and Abby; his three great-grandchildren; his brothers, Gene (Paula) Rose and Max Rose, Jr.; and many friends whose lives were impacted by Jim. Visitation will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m.
