James T. Blanchard, Jr.

James T. Blanchard, Jr., 46, of D'Iberville, MS died on Monday, September 26, 2011. James was born in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Many people will remember James as one of the best drummers on the Coast. He played with many local bands over the years. James will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Pratt Blanchard; grandparents, Milton and Velma Blanchard, Lambert and Nina Pratt. James is survived by his father, James Terrell Blanchard, Sr. of D'Iberville; sisters, Bridgette (Robert) Amenta of Gulfport, Donna (Richard) Quay of St. Martin; nephew, Mario Amenta of Gulfport. Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
