James A. Tate, age 68, passed away July 20th at home. James was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including Navy Commendation Medal with Combat “V” and the Purple Heart.
James was treated for and in remission of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a service connected illness resulting from his exposure to Agent Orange. “Absent from the body present with the Lord.” II Corinthians 5:8
“Jim” is survived by his brother H. F. (Frank) Tate Jr. and sisters Anna Tate and Barbara Grunitz. Revelation 21: 3-4
Services will be held this Wednesday at 10 am at Biloxi National Cemetery.
