James Thrasher

Mr. James L. Thrasher, age 69, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, November 9, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Thrasher was a resident of the community for 37 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Belle Thrasher and a brother, Lloyd C. Thrasher. He is survived by his wife, Kittie Thrasher of Ocean Springs, MS., a daughter, Shirley Ann Hopkins of Inglewood, CA., sister, Elizabeth Cosson of Athens, GA., three brothers, Tom Thrasher of Moss Point, MS., Donald Thrasher of Pensacola, FL., and Herbert Thrasher of Athens, GA., and one grandchild. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 13, 2005, from 1 PM - 4 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, November 14, 2005, there will be an 11 AM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
