James Toncrey

Mr. James Eugene "Li'l Harry" Toncrey, age 47, of Biloxi, MS. died Saturday, January 21, 2006, in North Biloxi. Harry was born in Biloxi on August 9, 1958, and was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was well known for writing and singing his songs. He loved to dance and exercise, but his favorite past time was walking and if you knew Harry like we all do, he probably walked his way to heaven. He was preceded in death by his father, Burnell Toncrey, Sr., mother, Vivian Richard Toncrey, and a great niece, Brittany Toncrey. Harry is survived by two sisters, Sonya (Joey) Franklin and Kay Toncrey, five brothers, Freddie Toncrey, Sr., Eldon Toncrey, Ronnie Toncrey, Raymond (Frances) Toncrey, and Burnell Toncrey, Jr., all of Biloxi, MS., ten nephews, nine nieces, five great-nephews, and six great-nieces. On Friday, January 27, 2006, there will be a 1:00 PM committal service in D'Iberville Memorial Park. After the services, there will be a gathering at the VFW Post # 6731, West Gay Road, in D'Iberville. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
