James Lester "Jim" Turner

James Lester “Jim” Turner at the age of 82, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi passed away on August 15, 2024. 

Jim served 24 years in the U.S. Navy on destroyers. After retirement from the military, he worked for 24 years at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi on the Arleigh Burke destroyers. 

He is survived by his wife Cathy and his three children Cary, Matthew, Christopher and his wife Kristy. Jim is also survived by his grandchildren Caleb, Sean, Kaitlan, Kelli, Brandon, Kennedi and honorary grandson Corey Rice. Jim was a lover of Zombie Movies, Korean Movies, horror and weird shows, which he passed on to his children and grandchildren.

Per Jim’s wishes there will be no services.
