James Walter "Jimmy" Butler, Jr.

Mr. James Walter "Jimmy" Butler, Jr., age 50, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, in Gulfport, MS. Jimmy was born in Biloxi, MS. on April 26, 1960, and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, June Noel Butler, brother, Jody Butler, and grandparents, Sadie and Herman Noel and Doris and Joe Butler. Survivors include a son, James "Trey" Walter (Bethany) Butler III, daughter, Saydie Lorelle Butler, father, James "Curley" W. (Judy) Butler, Sr., sister, Julie B. Kunz, stepbrother, Joey (Paula) Rockco, stepsisters, Carron (Leonard Parks) Rockco, Robin (Luke) Cochran, and Rochelle (Christaan) Perez, three grandsons, Dylan Butler, James M. Butler and Nicholas Butler, one niece, Briana (Corey) Vaughan and great-niece, Baileigh Vaughan. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 9, 2010, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, Greater Southeast Affiliate, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX., 75284-0692. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
