James Arnold White, age 87, recently residing in Phoenix, AZ, passed from this life on Monday, May 14, 2018.
James is the eldest son of James Dera White and Gladys Florilla Pritzen of Castor, LA. He was born and raised in Castor LA, graduating from Castor High School. After graduation, James served his country in the United States Air Force for 30 years. He met and married Mary Anna Pearce in 1956. James traveled the United States and overseas during his time in the service, most often accompanied by his wife and children. James retired in 1979 from Keesler AFB and continued to reside in d’Iberville and Jackson County after his retirement. James and Mary moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2015 to be closer to their children. James was a devoted father and husband, and enjoyed travel, hunting, and fishing throughout his lifetime.
James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Anna White; his daughters, Jo Ann Haga and Vicky L. Amann; his son, James E. White; and five grandchildren, Lindsey and Taylor Haga and John, James and Sam Amann. He is also survived by his brother, John Earl White of Baton Rouge, LA.
Funeral Services will be held at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:30 am. Friends may visit from 10:30 am until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
