James David White

James David White, age 80, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2022 at his home in Gulfport.

James was born on August 19, 1941 in Rayville, LA.  After high school, he attended Palmer Chiropractic College and was employed as a safety coordinator at Dow Chemical.  His hobbies were fishing, dancing, family time and vacations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar P. White and Gertrude White; his spouse Lillian R. White; grandchildren Lance P. Jordan and Joshua Joseph White; siblings Larry White, Jimmy White, Sharon Gayle Burnes and Loraine White.

James is survived by his children, Teresa Schultz (Terry), Dena Munday (Roger) and Malinda Pace; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; siblings Mary Theriot, Douglas White, Ethel White, Oscar P. White, Jr., Archie White, Alice Adams; and his pet Suzzie Q.

The family would like to thank Leah Escude, HomeCare Hospice, Dr. Mousa Malouf and Pastor Bryon Atwood.

Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS, followed by a service at 2:00 p.m.
