James Allen Williams, Jr. AKA “Jim Cat”, 60 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on August 22, 2024.
Jim was a long-time resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was born on June 12, 1964 in Biloxi, MS to James (Judy) Williams and Gwendolyn Childers. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School and Ayers State Technical College. He was a loving son, father, pawpaw, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He always lite up the room and was the life of the party. He was employed as a general foreman and electrician for Huntington Ingalls and Austal. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker, spending time with family and friends, bonfires, shooting guns, listening to music and having concerts, and playing football and soccer.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Judy Williams; grandson, Steven B. Nall; and sister, Pam Williams.
He is survived by his mom, Gwendolyn Childers; children, Crystal (Steven) Nall, Michael (Desiree) Caillavet, and Danielle Caillavet; grandchildren, T.J. Nall, Michael Hale-Unger, Nicholas Caillavet, Rylei Caillavet, and Archie Davis; and siblings, Bill Williams, Shawn Williams, and Kaleb Williams.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit from 12:00 noon until service time. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
