James D. Wilson, 81, of Biloxi, died Sunday, December 15, 2013. James is preceded in death by his parents, Frank S. Wilson and Janie Walters Wilson, both of Biloxi. His survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Thomas Wilson of Biloxi; children, Donna Wilson of Chevychase, MD, James (Ginger) Wilson, Jr. of Plains, TX, John (Donna) Wilson of Ocean Springs, MS, Susan Wilson Maniscalco of Slidell, LA, Tracy (Paula) Wilson; grandchildren, Elizabeth Meuse of Biloxi, MS, Gwen Wilson Carrizales of Waco, TX, Nickalus Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA, Joshua Wilson of Biloxi, MS, Veronica Wilson of Bassfield, MS, Tara Liprie of Slidell, LA, Cori Montz of Slidell, LA, Kevin Wilson of TN, Richard Meuse of Biloxi, MS, Harley Wilson of Biloxi, MS; and great grandchildren, Aimee Dillon of Slidell, LA ,Emma Liprie of Slidell, LA, Paige Montz of Slidell, LA, Marina Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA, Jacob Wilson of Virginia Beach, VA, and Adam Carrizales of Waco TX. Special thanks to the Biloxi Community Living Center staff for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to be made to Bethel Lutheran Church or Bethel Free Health Clinic. Visit will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
