Jane Gaye Stallings

Jane Gaye Stallings, age 53, of Long Beach died Monday, October 8, 2007 in Gulfport. Mrs. Stallings was born in Rolling Fork, and was a resident of Long Beach for 20 years. She was the co-owner of Coast Garage Door Company. She cherished her children and her granddaughter and was a wonderful wife to her husband. Gaye loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed decorating her home, gardening, and taking care of pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ray and Lorraine Kent Tucker. She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Stallings; her daughter, Karen Michelle "Mia" Stallings; her son, Eric M. Stallings and his wife, Danielle, all of Long Beach; three brothers, Kent Tucker of Clinton, Bill Tucker of Little Rock, AR, and Kevin Tucker of Jackson; and her granddaughter, Adelyn Marie Stallings. The family prefers memorials to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501. Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. The funeral service will be Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery, Long Beach.
