Janelle Mary West

Mrs. Janelle M. West, age 84, of Gautier, MS., died Wednesday, December 6, 2006, in Pascagoula, MS. Mrs. West was a lifelong resident of the community and an accomplished "Mammie" doll maker. She worked as an upholsterer in the West Upholstery Shop and was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harry Franklin West, Sr., son, Harry Franklin West, Jr., parents, Chalmus and Mary Byrd, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Mary (Jack) Robinson of Oklahoma, a son, Danny (Nicole) West of Moss Point, MS., four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 9, 2006, from 2-4 PM, with a 3 PM memorial service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
