Janet Elizabeth Braun

Janet Elizabeth Braun, 89, of Biloxi, MS passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Biloxi Regional Hospital. Ms Braun was born in Biloxi on December 4, 1921 and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She graduated from Biloxi High School and was employed as an executive stenographer at the Gulfport VA and as a secretary/receptionist for the Salvation Army during her younger years. Ms Braun was of the Baptist faith. Ms Braun is preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. and Augusta Sheppard Braun; brothers, Alan E. and Charles H. (Tillie) Braun and her niece, Diane Hartmann Miller. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Braun Hartmann; five nieces, one nephew and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 1:30 p.m. until service time. Interment will be in Biloxi City Cemetery.
