Janet Louise Henley

Janet Louise Henley, 75, of D’Iberville, MS, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015. Janet was born in Moss Point, MS on December 06, 1939. She married Robert H. Henley Sr. on September 4, 1954; they were married 54 years prior to his passing. Janet was a devoted housewife and mother of four children. She enjoyed participating in her local church, meeting new people and experiencing local cuisine. She was also actively involved in several charitable events and was a frequent volunteer for charitable causes. Janet is survived by her sister, Viola Hilliard; her children, Jan Flickner, Pat Trochesset (Michael Trochesset), Robert Henley (Sheila Henley) and Ronald Henley; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and other family and friends. Janet is preceded in death by husband Robert H Henley Sr.; her parents, Thelma Warner and Emile Rasmussen; her brothers, Carl Rasmussen and Michael Warner; and her grandson, Michael Trochesset. Janet was an avid animal lover and asked that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be given to The Humane Society of South Mississippi in her name. The family of Janet Henley wishes to thank all of her friends and family for their caring and good wishes for a great lady who will be dearly missed. Respects may be paid from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Big Ridge Baptist Church, D‘Iberville, MS. Dr. Raymond Grabert, Jr. will be officiating. Graveside service will be at D‘Iberville Memorial Park, 11041 Gorenflo Rd, D’Iberville, MS at 10:45. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
