Janice Gates

Janice Gates, age 69, of Gulfport died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in Gulfport. Mrs. Gates was born in Lamar County, MS and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for over 45 years. She was Baptist and a member of Gulfport Flowers and Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey E. and Jessie Mae Hayden Chambliss. She is survived by her husband, Neville Gates, Sr.; a daughter, Rhonda ; a son, Tim; a step-son, Ned Gates; numerous brothers and sisters; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family prefers memorials to Pass Road Baptist Church, 208 Pass Road, Gulfport, MS 39507. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the service.
