Janice Hampton

Mrs. Janice Hampton, age 73, of Biloxi, MS, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005, in Ocean Springs, MS. Mrs. Hampton was a native of Pikeville, KY. She had been a Coast resident for the past 13 years. She retired from Majic Mart Food Stores as store manager after 8 years of service. She lived most of her life in McVeay, Ky. Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart H. Hampton. She is survived by a daughter, Janet C. Parker and husband, David, of Latimer; three sons, William H. West and wife, Beann, of Texas; Dennis C. West and wife, Donna, of Friendswood, TX, and John E. West and wife, Deanna, of Seoul, Korea; sisters, June Griffin and Ruth Goff, both of Columbus, Ohio; and Glenda Curry of Kentucky; brother, Bill Goff of Vero Beach, FL; and six grandchildren, Renee, Amber, Andrew, Nicole, Katlin and Caroline. On Saturday, September 10, 2005, there was an 11 AM chapel service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, where friends visited from 10-11 AM. Burial followed in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
