Janice Phillips Wilson Caridad

Janice Phillips Wilson Caridad, 62, of Pass Christian, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Caridad was born on August 22, 1952 in Saltburn, England to Frank and Dorothy Phillips Wilson who preceded her in death. Mrs. Caridad was educated in England and received her teaching credentials from Neville’s Cross College of Durham University, Durham, England. Mrs. Caridad is survived by her husband of 38 years Jon Caridad: her son, Daniel Jon; her daughter, Sarah Eileen and her granddaughter, Gloria Jayne Caridad. She is also survived by one brother, Graham Wilson of Redcar, England. Mrs. Caridad was a preschool teacher at Coast Episcopal School, Long Beach, MS for twenty-five years and influenced a countless number of students through the years. She will be remembered not only as a gifted teacher, but also as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 12 noon at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
