Jason Joseph Aubin, 49, resident of Gulfport, MS used up the last of his nine lives on February 12, 2023, in a tragic work accident. He was born June 20th, 1973 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Romelle Page and Richard Aubin.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis Gonsalves, Antonette and Hershel Richards, Irene and Joesph Aubin, Kyle Beach, and dad, Burnis Page. He is survived by his mother, Romelle Page; father, Richard Aubin; children, Georgianna Aubin, Helena Aubin, Christian Mills, and Natalie Mills; siblings Tammy (Danny) Dedeaux, Adam (Angela) Page, Sarah (Jason) Albritton, Leah (Christopher) Riordan, Joey Bernard, Michael Bernard, Bryan Bernard along with numerous loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his wife of 7 years, Delisa Miller.
With a personality that was larger than life, Jason had the innate ability to charm anyone he met. Perhaps it was the twinkle in his eyes, his beautiful smile, or just the aura of charisma that drew people from all walks of life to him. In high school, he might be remembered as Mr. Harrison Central 1992 (AKA Hoba). At work, he might have been a dashing waiter at a fine dining establishment or the daring and bold billboard installer to a hard-working welder who was quick to make a joke to lighten up the day. No matter where he traveled in life, he magnetically pulled others to him.
Jason was a dedicated family man and would take any opportunity to spend time with his loved ones. He was completely enamored with his children, loving them in the most passionate and selfless of ways. He truly fits the cliché of being one to give the shirt off his back to help those he cherished. The family will remember Jason as a jokester with a ginormous heart and an infectious laugh. At one moment, he would make them shake their heads at his antics. The next, he would offer big bear hugs holding you tight while saying, "My little bunny rabbit." He would always put on a brave face when you needed a shoulder to cry on and he would bring the fists out when someone needed a good "can of whoop ass."
He was his son's best fishing buddy, a sounding board to his daughters, one of his mother's sweethearts, the life of any party, his sister's partner in crime, and his whole family's steadfast friend. He was the source of countless years of smiles and laughter. As he is remembered he will no doubt be the source of countless more. He will always be remembered as a loving father of four. May he rest in power in God's hands and always fly high.
