Mr. Jason Raymond Krohn, age 27, of Latimer, MS., died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, in Ocean Springs.
Jason was born in Ocean Springs on July 25, 1977. He had resided in Latimer until his marriage when he moved to Vancleave. Jason was a quiet, reserved man, goal oriented, handsome and brave. He was a 1995 graduate of St. Martin High School and the Police Academy where he graduated with top honors. He was a member of the Ocean Springs Police Department for 4 1/2 years doing a job he dearly loved.
His grandfathers, Vernon Raymond Krohn and George Jones preceded Jason in death. Survivors include his wife of four years, Amanda Kinlaw Krohn, his parents, Clayton and Darlene (Jones) Krohn, grandmothers, Katherine Pylate Krohn and Billie Jones, great-grandmother, Fannie Mae Dunnam, one brother, Matthew Krohn, all of Latimer, mother-in-law, Betty M. Kinlaw of Vancleave, and sisters-in-law, Lori K. Guin of Mobile, and Tina Kilpatrick of Bahrain. Jason leaves numerous aunts and uncles to cherish memories, along with many cousins, several of whom served as playmates in early childhood. Jason will be deeply missed by his loving and caring family.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 22, 2005, from 6-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. On Monday, May 23, 2005, there will be a 2:00 P.M. chapel service in the funeral home, conducted by Reverend John D. Jones. Burial will follow in Camellia Cemetery in Latimer.
The family would like to thank the residents of Latimer and Vancleave, the Army National Guard, the Walmart associates of Ocean Springs, and the Ocean Springs Police Department for all of their love, prayers, kindness and support during our time of need.
