J.D. Evans

J.D. Evans, age 86, of Long Beach, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Gulfport. He was born in Clinton, KY and had been a resident of Long Beach since 2004. He was a member of Church of Christ in Long Beach. He was a retired welder. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth K. Evans; a brother, Clint Evans; and two sisters, Jean Austin and Marie Evans. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Haley (Phil) of Long Beach; a son, Darrell Evans of Hartford, IL; a sister, Frances Biondolino of Arkansas; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service, Monday, December 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Long Beach. The family prefers memorials to Church of Christ, 200 N.
