Jean Agustin

Mrs. Jean Agustin, 72, of Gulfport, MS, went to be with the Lord Friday, September 16, 2011, in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Agustin was born in Vicksburg, MS, and has been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 51 years. She was a gemologist and worked many years at Service Merchandise and the Gold Shop. She most recently was employed with Beach Front Holiday Inn in Gulfport. She was a member of Bay Vista Baptist Church in Biloxi. Mrs. Agustin was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Edna Sanders; brother, James "J.V." Sanders and a nephew, Joey Carroll. She is survived by her husband, Joe Agustin; son, Mike (Maria) Agustin; sister, Elaine (J.W.) Carroll; brothers, Charles (Judy) Sanders and Riley Sanders; niece, Heather (Jamie) Jenkins; nephews, Johnathan Sanders and Chuck (Stephanie) Sanders; special great nieces, Breelie and Kinsey Jenkins; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews from Hawaii and Vicksburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bay Vista Baptist Church, 2485 Pass Road., Biloxi, MS 39531. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Bay Vista Baptist Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
