Jean Dearing

Mrs. Jean Dearing, age 78, of Ocean Springs, MS., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Mrs. Dearing was born on June 22, 1929, in Jayess, MS. She was the twelfth child of Clemens D. and Ettie Dunaway. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, devoted mom, doting grandmother, great - grandmother, and good friend to many. Mrs. Dearing was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and four sisters. Jean and James were married for 42 years and had four daughters, Margaret and Rickie Goff of Kansas, Yoette and Jerry Duprey of Gautier, Daphne and Steve Zorich, Jr. of TX., and Rhoda and Greg Payne of Ocean Springs, four granddaughters, Renee and Mike Hadley, Melisa and Jody Shilling, Brandi and Trevor Baryo, and Jessica Payne, one grandson, Colton Payne, one step-grandson, Russell Noble, four great-granddaughters, Kayla Hadley, Madison Pullen, Ashley Taft, and Holly Baryo, five step-granddaughters, a sister, Kathleen McKenzie, dear friends, Margaret and Jim Anderson and family, and McConnell, Kylie and Cody. We will miss this kind and generous lady. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 30, 2008, from 5-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Monday, March 31, 2008 there will be a 1 PM church service at the Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast Church on Popps Ferry Rd, where Mrs. Dearing will lie in state from 12 Noon - 1 PM. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
