Jean Louise Peppard Nettles

Jean Louise Peppard Nettles, age 75, passed into Heaven peacefully Monday, March 12, 2018. Mrs. Nettles was born in Biloxi and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for 58 years. She was a beloved wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a charter member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lavon Nettles; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Peppard; her sister, Gay St. Claire; and her great-granddaughter, Natalie Hightower. Survivors include four sons, Scott (Lisa) Nettles, Steve (Dianne) Nettles, Paul Nettles, all of Ocean Springs, and Brian (Rhonda) Nettles of Pass Christian; a daughter, Jan Nettles (Anthony) Gruich of Biloxi; grandchildren, Nicole (Allen) Ramsey, Chris Nettles, Julianne Nettles, Matt Nettles, Heather Goff, Brian Williams, Ashley Gruich, Emily (Jake) Vuyovich, Allison Gruich, Abel Nettles, Callie Lawson, Sam Lawson, Levi Nettles, and Blaise Nettles; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with an 11:00 Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36604. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
