Jeanne Hart Carlisle

Jeanne Hart Carlisle, 63, of Long Beach died Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Long Beach. Jeanne was born in Gulfport and a resident of the coast most of her life. She was a graduate of Gulfport High School and attended Ole Miss. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Long Beach. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished the time spent at the ballpark watching her grandchildren playing sports. She was a faithful and dedicated friend and employee of the Harrison County Sheriff Dept. where she worked 26 years. Her gentle spirit and love for all will be greatly missed by many. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Helen Hart; and a son, Brett Carlisle. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Kirby L. Carlisle; a daughter, Tressa Lee Carlisle and a son, Eugene Todd Carlisle and his wife, Valerie all of Long Beach; a sister, Patricia McDonald and her husband, Pat of Pass Christian; three grandchildren, Savannah, Brandon and Deven; three brothers-in-law, Don Carlisle and his wife, Betty of Atlanta, GA, Barry Carlisle of North Carolina and Skipper Carlisle and his wife, Debbie of Gulfport and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Church of Good Shepherd, Espy Ave. at 1:00 p.m. where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. The family prefers memorials to the Long Beach Youth Baseball League, P.O. Box 783, Long Beach, MS 39560. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th St. Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
