Jeanne Carmel Orr

Jeanne Carmel Beaugez Orr, age 75 went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Gulfport, MS surrounded by her family. 

Jeanne was born on February 20, 1947 in Biloxi, MS. She was a graduate of d'Iberville High School and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Woolmarket, MS. Jeanne enjoyed her retirement from being a Chancery Clerk in Harrison County and enjoying spending time with her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Rose Beaugez of Biloxi; and her brother, Sammy Beaugez of Biloxi. 

Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Sammie Orr; her son, Andy Orr of Biloxi; her daughters, Kellie (Danny) Boudreaux of Biloxi, Amy (Jay) Helffrich of Biloxi and Gina Felton of Biloxi; her grandchildren, Danny (Haley) Boudreaux of Biloxi, Drew (Brooke) Boudreaux of Brandon, Siera and Sammie Felton of Biloxi and DJ Helffrich of Biloxi; her great-granddaughters, Eliza and Lottie; her sister, Judy (Otie) Bosarge of Biloxi; her brother-in-law, Bill Raymond of Biloxi; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who she thought of as family; and her special canine companion, Beau. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Biloxi, MS on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow at William Seymour Cemetery in St. Martin, MS. A reception will be held at St. Mary's Parish Hall immediately after the interment.
