Jeffrey A. Burgess

Jeffrey A. Burgess, 39, of Long Beach Mississippi passed away in Hershey Pennsylvania on Tuesday, May 1st 2007, after a battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Jeff lived a full life with the short time he had. He enjoyed skydiving, rollerblading, kayaking, windsurfing, and especially skiing. His ashes will be scattered on a mountainside ski slope. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Muriel Burgess, and his maternal grandparents, Cyril and Jean Wolfe. Jeff will be missed by his wife, Julie K. Burgess and son, Kallan Lierl Burgess; his loving mother and step-father, Kathy and Tom Hartman of Sunbury, Pennsylvania; his father and step-mother, Jeffrey and Corazan Burgess, of Milton, Fl.; his sister and her husband, Deanna and Rob Ziemba, of Palmyra, PA; a very special niece and nephew, Kennedy and Kyle Ziemba; his brother and his wife, Jon and Samantha Burgess, of Gulfport, and their children, Adam and Katie. He will also be missed by his in-laws, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends. His family would like to say a special thank you to all who helped Jeff with his fight and especially to the people of the Medical Foundation of South MS, The Gastroenterology Center, and to Butch and Patty Kuhn. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 7, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until the service. Keith Sangwin of Gulf Christian Church of Long Beach will officiate at the service. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the Patrick F.
