Jerry Dean Fain, Sr.

Jerry Dean Fain, Sr., 82, of Long Beach died Saturday, November 12, 2022 in Gulfport.

Mr. Fain was born in Whitmire, SC and had been a resident of Long Beach for 53 years.  He was a supervisor at Ingalls Shipbuilding, previously served in the US Air Force, was a member of Divine Grace Baptist Church and a member of the VFW in Long Beach.  Mr. Fain enjoyed bowling.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, George H. Bealies.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Young Fain; three daughters, Samantha, Inger and Goldia; two sons, Jerry, Jr. and Brian; his sister, Priscilla Poole; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The memorial service will be Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 12 noon at the Divine Baptist Church, 5550 Red Creek Road, Long Beach where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 a.m.
