Jerry Clarence Flynn, age 74, of Gulfport passed away Friday, April 23, 2021. He was born in New Albany, Indiana to Delotus and Hazel Flynn.
Jerry was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, serving 26 years upon retirement. He spent many years of his career serving at Keesler Air Force Base as both a technical instructor and a supervisor.
Jerry was first and foremost a husband and a father. He was a kindhearted gentleman to all who knew him. He loved western stories, country and rock music, and Kentucky basketball.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Jean Flynn.
Jerry leaves behind three children, Craig (Christie) Flynn, Darrin (Sunday) Flynn, and Kevin (Mindy) Flynn, and three grandchildren, Braeden, Brandon, and Joshua.
The family wishes to thank his physicians, nurses and staff with Keesler Medical Center who saw to his care during the past three years, and to the nurses and staff with Saad Hospice who cared for him during the past month.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made in Jerry’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Funeral Services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 9:30 am until service time. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the Flynn family.
