Jerry Lynn King

Jerry Lynn King, 70, long time resident of Vancleave, MS passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

He was born on July 10, 1952 in Bogalusa, LA to Clyde and Rosetta King. He was self-employed as a Sheetrock Finisher for twenty-five years. He loved the outdoors, working in his yard, woodworking, and to praise and worship his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Rosetta King; siblings, Barbara Jean (Wesley) Lumbley of Ponchatoula, LA, Phyllis (Ray) Nehaus of Pear River, MS; and brother-in-law, Frank Griffen.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Jan Tootle King; children, Karen (Joseph) Buza of Grand Bay, AL and Shana (Russell) Lane, Jr. of Vancleave, MS; grandchildren, Alex (Kristen) Buza, Joel Buza, Caleb Buza, and Jimmy Russell (Debbie) Mclallen; siblings, Mary Frances Griffen and Donald Jeffrey King; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Vancleave Assembly of God. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Vancleave #2 Cemetery. Officiating the services will be Reverend Mike Barton, Reverend Jimmy Moore and Reverend Bennett Coker.
