Jerry Glen Martin

Jerry Glen Martin, age 83, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Jerry was born on December 20, 1936 in Medina, TN. His career with the DuPont company began in 1956 in California, moved to Tennessee, then Mississippi until retiring in 1992. He was also in the Tennessee National Guard for a few years. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Hermon and Minervia OC Martin; his brother, Odell Martin; his sister, Sue Lytle; and his stepdaughter, Tammy Fore. He is survived by his wife, Judy Martin of Gulfport, MS; his daughter, Barbara Bunch of Trenton, TN; his son, Michael Martin, Milan, TN; his grandsons, Patrick Bunch and Brandon Bunch; his granddaughter, Shawna Martin; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews in California; and two cousins who he loved like his sister and brother, Joyce Osborne and Charles Martin. A graveside service for family will be held at Hopewell Cemetery in Medina, TN at a later date. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, is honored to serve this family.
