Jesse L. Canon, Jr.

Jesse L. Canon, Jr. age 79, left this earth for Heaven, Sunday morning on January 29, 2006. Jesse was born in Vaiden, MS on November 28, 1926, to the late Jesse Lee Canon, Sr. and Marilla Vail Canon of Vaiden, MS (Carroll County). He is survived by his wife Rosa Lee McCoy Canon of Batesville, MS, one daughter Gwendolyn Canon of Pass Christian, MS, one grandson Nathan McCoy Canon of the Pass, and one brother Dr. William W. Canon of Columbus, MS, and one niece, Margie Canon of Columbus, MS. Jesse was the founder and owner of Canon Engineering and a member of numerous other organizations. Jesse will be missed greatly. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road in Gulfport.
