Mr. Jesse Lee Parker, age 86, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at home peacefully after a long and joyful life. He was surrounded in his last days by family and two wonderful caregivers who he loved very much.
Mr. Parker was an Army Chief Warrant Officer 4 who proudly served his country for 32 years with a great love for his country and those young men who served. He was a lifelong member of Heritage United Methodist Church in d’Iberville, MS of which his parents were founding members.
Mr. Parker is preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Morton Parker; parents, Lottie Bell Parker and Jesse Parker; and siblings, Earl Parker, Lloyd Parker and Donald Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Miller Parker; two daughters, Debbie Parker (Walter Mansfield) and Cathy Parker; two granddaughters, Jessica Minshull (Charles) and Michelle Brashear (Ryan); one loving great-grandson, Daniel Brashear; siblings, Dot Ellis (Bob) and Gertrude Seymour; and a large extended family in which there are many memories and much love.
In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to Heritage United Men’s Ministry in which he was a very active participant when able.
Funeral services will be held at Heritage United Methodist Church on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
