Jessie Mae Courtney

Mrs. Jessie Mae Courtney, 96, of Biloxi, MS, died Thursday, March 23, 2006, in Biloxi. Mrs. Courtney was a native of Ocean Springs and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Courtney was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Monroe Courtney; a daughter, Dorothy Beatrice Courtney, and three sons, William Leonard Courtney and Kenneth James Courtney. Survivors include two daughters, Nora McMillan of Biloxi, and Juanita Reinhart, of Buffalo, New York; one son, Daniel N. Courtney, of Biloxi and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 27, 2006, at 12 noon at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetey.
